Allergy and Sleep: Their mutual effects

Dr. Gustavo Antonio Moreira graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of São Paulo (1986), Residency in Pediatrics from the Federal University of São Paulo (1990), Research Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care from the University of Minnesota (1994) and Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care from the University from Maryland (1997), Research Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology from the Johns Hopkins University (1997), Doctor of Science from the Federal University of São Paulo (2002). He is currently the Clinical Director of the Instituto do Sono and he coordinates the outpatient clinic for sleep-disordered breathing in children at the Department of Pediatrics (UNIFESP) and the non-invasive mechanical ventilation service for patients with neuromuscular diseases (AFIP). He is also advisor of the graduate program in Psychobiology (UNIFESP) and physician of the clinical staff of Hospital Albert Einstein. He has experience in the areas of Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine. Research lines: obstructive sleep apnea, sleep-disordered breathing, awakening, neuromuscular diseases, mechanical ventilation, pulmonary circulation.
